Big dark area on foreskin

For years now I’ve noticed a purple/black area on my foreskin, it’s defiantly on the skin. It looks almost swollen when soft but when erect it’s flat. When it’s erect it looks more red in colour. It’s not sore or anything but it does look it. I masturbate a lot, from ages 14-20 it was twice a day. Now it’s 5-10 times a week and I am 25. It’s where I put my fingers when I am masturbating so I’m wondering if it’s because of that?

I went to see a specialist about been circumcised and he asked me what it was. I passed it off as nothing as it’s been there for years but now I am panicking.

Hmmm... I was going to suggest seeing a Urologist to help determine what this is, but it sounds like you already did & he didn’t know. This may be just a congenital discoloration that’s probably harmless. It sounds like it’s not causing you any pain or discomfort, but more a case of being unhappy with the way it looks. I can certainly understand that - if it were me, I think I’d feel the same way. I suggest maybe seeing a different Urologist & ask if there’s anything to be co concerned about & I imagine you’d also want to ask if there’s any type of cosmetic surgery available that could correct the discoloration.
