Blood in urine

Hi, I am a 29 yoa female that has had many urinary problems.  I was diagnosed 3 years ago with a UPJ Obstruction in my left ureter, and have had 4 surgeries to correct it. The last surgery I had was in 2006. I also have had/have kidney stones in my left kidney, I passed a 13mm one in June 2006. In the past year I have not had any reoccuring problems with my obstuction and stones, although I still have 6mm stone in my left kidney.  This past week, I did however urinate large amount of blood, my urine was cola colored. With my history I decided to go to the emergency room cause I was very concerned. I have not had any pains, or burning sensations, only large amounts of blood in my urine. The ER performed blood tests, urine tests and a CT scan all came back negative for any kind of infection or stones, with the exception on the 6mm ston in my kidney. I got no real answer why this may have happened. When I got home my urine seemed to clear up and go back to normal. I have done no exercising or activities that may have contributed to this, I also had no pain, so I don't believ I passed a stone. Should I be concerned? Or just let it go cause it cleared up on its own?
Thank you

I am unsure if my clotting factors were assessed, I will be getting the reports from my family physician as soon as the hospital sends them. I will also be sure to make a follow up appt with my urologist. Thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

At this point your tests all came back negative and there is no associated pain or changes in urinary pattern. What is significant in your posts though is your history of previous instrumentation.

You may need a close follow up with your physician. A repeat urinalysis a few months from now and determination of your kidney function may be able to help.

Were your clotting factors assessed ( PT,aPTT,INR, complete blood count with platelet count)?
