Can ED Drugs Cause Urethra Infections?

I have been ordering certain generic ED drugs from a company for about 3 years now and I know that they come from India. I usually get some of the big 3 and have never had any problems. Recently, I ordered the generic Cialis that is taken once a day. I was taking them for about 2 weeks or less, but was also promisicuos. All vaginal penetration was with a condom, but did receive some oral and hand jobs with their saliva as a lubricant. This past week my urethra burned when I urinated, the urethral opening was red around it and I began to have a discharge. The discharge was not green, yellow or white, but looked to be a thicker urine basically. I went to the doctor and was given Cipro. I also had a urine screen and urethra swab for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. The urine came back negative, but the swab test hasn't come back yet. After getting the Cipro, I took one pill but was still concerned. I went to the STD clinic and recieved a Rocefin injection, 1g Zithromax and 2g of Metronidazole. If the STD tests are negative can the infection/discharge be caused by the ED drugs?

Thanks for your response. I have had prescriptions in the past for Viagra from my doctor. I just started getting them through this company instead due to costs. Was concerned that maybe the quality of the generic may not has been as safe as the name brand.

Hi,
How are you? Unless advised by a physician drugs like cialis, Viagra should not be taken. Many a times it is the emotional factor which might cause ED. Coming to cialis before starting treatment with this you need to rule out contraindications like liver failure, coronary artery disease, visual disorders etc.

But in no way it can be implicated as the cause of infections. Side effects predominantly include dizziness, visual disturbances, nasal congestion, heart-burn, flushing headaches, priapism etc.
See what the swab culture tests say, and treatment accordingly.
Take care.
