Can anyone please help me with this problem?

Only a bit after I realized I had done the dumbest mistake of my life, and that if there was one thing I could turn around and change in my life it would be this. I can't possibly expalin to you how much I hate myself for doing what I did. Its as if the surgeon who preformed the circumsision on me either cut more than just the foreskin on my penis and extra skin that I needed on the shaft, or the stitches were sewed in a way that would make the appearance of my penis feel much tighter in both erect and flaccid state. First off my erect and flaccid state are smaller now than they were before I was circumsized. When I have an erection its as if my penis wants to expand and get bigger in length  but it cannot due to not enough skin on the shaft. It comes to the point often when I masturbate or have sex that my testicles actually get pushed inside of my body because there is not enough space over there. I remember also before my circumsission I would wake up in the morning often with erections and to hide it I would be able to kinda of bend and tuck my penis down my pants pointing towards downwards position on my way to the bathroom. Now when I wake up with an erection I cannot bend it downwards do to alot less skin. (or so I think that is why)

Many times even when I'm in my flaccid state the size seems small and strange looking. The same feeling you get when you come out of the shower and you feel cold and everything becoming tight. I know I procastinated a whole lot before I decided to see if I can do something about it, but do to an excessive busy working and school schedule It was only 4 months ago where I set up an appointment to talk to the same surgeon about the problem. He obviously didn't remember me and felt in some way that I was putting the blame on him since we never did a follow up after the procedure, and concluded by saying I have a perfectly normal penis by seeing it only in its flaccid state. I was really upset after I saw him because I saw right away he wasn't there to help me with my current problems.

I can't explain how much lower my confidence level is with the women, If I knew my penis was going to be smaller in length in flaccid and erect state I would have never had this procedure done to me. Have you ever had to deal with anyone who had a similar problem like this? Is this something that is common and has happend to people after they've been circumsized? Can this problem get fixed? I really don't know if there is even anything that I can do.

It may be smaller but i honestly enjoy it tight. I like the way it looks and feels. Look at it this way, at least you had a large penis at one point. Now it may be smaller but still satisfying im sure. Who cares if your testicals go up, they dont do much for me anyway. Im honestly not trying to be rude. I just want you to think positive if this is something that cannot be fixed. Learn to love your new tight penis. Another surgery might make it worse. If it doesnt cause pain for you then everything is good. Just think it could be worse, it could be inverted. (and for those with an inverted penis im sorry i said that)

Hi,

Thinking that it is cleaner to be circumcised is non sence. It only takes a few seconds to retract the foreskin and wash the glans.
Also the idea that women prefer a circumcised penis is also nonsence. I certainly hope that who ever you choose as a partner will be interested in you as you are and not if your penis has a foreskin or not.

If you look at the links that I have given you, you should be able to find information as to how you can stretch the remaining skin. Since you state that it seems that the doctor? who performed this might have taken more skin then he should have, it might be hard to stretch the skin.

I have a bit of a problem with a doctor going through with a circumcision  if there really is no medical need. three times did I receive surgery dealing with my genitals. Only once did I have a surgery where the surgeon did not ask me if I wanted him to go ahead with the surgey. This was due to a badly infected testicle that had to be removed, if it was not done, I would not be alive to day.
The very first surgery that I had was on the bladderneck and prostate, I was 30 at the time. While I was being prepped in the OR the surgeon asked me if I wanted to go through with the surgery. I had problems passing my urine so I had this done.
In 1999 I had decided to get a vasectomy due to other urological problems and not just to become infertile. Again a different surgeon asked me if I wanted to go through with things as I was being prepped.
I certently hope that a doctor would have aksed you if you wanted them to continue with the circumcision. The circumcision being of much lesser medical importance from what I had done.

I'm not exactly sure as to how the procedure is done, but they can surgicaly transfer the skin from the shaft of the penis to cover the glans, I asume that a skin graft is then placed over the missiing skin of the shaft. I don't know about the side effects from this and the sensation of  the penis.

The other possibility is by stretching the remaining skin. the either use tape to move and slowly stretch the skin over the glans. They can also use weights or a sling that attaches to the remaining skin and having tension on the remaining skin.
Once again I'm not circumcised so I don't know what works or how succesful it is.
If you look at some of the pictures of the people who have done this, it looks like it is possible,

Since you are missing the part of the skin that contained nerve endings I don't have any idea about the sensation of the so called restored foreskin. If you opt for surgery, it will likely be treated as a cosmetic procedure.

Please let others know about your situation and regrets. Routine Circumcision must be stopped. Don't let others make a similar mistake.

Sincerely,

Ron

At the time the reason I wanted to become circumsized was because I felt it was cleaner and I thought girls prefered it more. This is the dumbest mistake I"ve ever done....I can't explain how much I hate myself for doing this...This is the only thing I wish I could go back in my life and change. It feels like my testicles are closer to my shaft...and when I get an erection the whole package is tighter. Do you think I can fix this?

Hi, Here are a few sites that should be of interest to you.

http://www.mic.ki.se/diseases/C12.html

www.cirp.org

The cirp site deals specificly with circumcision.

Did you have a medical reason to be circumcised?

There is a surgical procedure where the cut the skin on the shaft of the penis and move it towards the glans. I don't have the site for this surgical procedure.

It would have to be life or death decision for me before I would part with my foreskin.

To many doctors in the U.S. and Canada routinely circumcise without telling their patients or parents about all the risks and different outcomes that circumcision can pose.
The really sad part is that most males who are circumcised could have been helped without the need of circumcision.

If you look at the forms of ritual circumcision as required in accordance to the Jewish faith, the circumcision is different from what doctors today do. It is a much looser circumcision and sometimes only partly exposes the glans. The same goes for the Muslim faith.

I don't fall into any of these groups.

Please let others know from your experience, this form of mutulation must be stopped. If we were to bring up female circumcision than most readily agree that this is a practice that must be stopped. It is no differenc in males. Just imagine that you would have been an infant, and that you would have had this procedure done to you without an anesthetic. This is comon practice since there is a major risk with the general anesthetic.

You will most likely also have eperienced a difference in sensation in the penis. This will be noticed with masterbation and intercourse. I'm sure that had you been more informed, you would not have conscented to this mutulation.

I can only speak from what I had heard from my younger brother who was circumcised later in life for a so called medical need.

Please let me know how things work out for you?

Sincerely,

Ron
