Can squeezing of a testicle cause permanent damage or pain?

Had testicular pain on the right side. Went to see a urologist who squeezed my left testicle during "examination" and now I have pain on that side more so than even the right (whereas previously I had zero pain on that side).
I am now taking prescription grade pain medication and even that's not enough.
Is it possible that this examinations created some permanent damage?

Pain subsided with Meloxicam 15mg. Hopefully will be able to get off it without suffering.

It is possible, but unlikely. If you see a swelling, the pain doesn't subside or gets even worse, please visit an emergency room
