Constant semi-erection

It's hard to explain.. But for the past year or so, throughout the day i experience a strange semi-erection that comes and goes. It isn't fully hard, but is noticeable and extremely embarrassing. It rarely goes fully erect, and just kind of sits in a semi-hard flaccid state. I'm 22, so this shouldn't be a huge hormonal issue and I feel as if something is wrong. It hasn't been hit hard or anything like that lately. I don't want to go to a doctor, because I wouldn't even know where to start explaining.

Hi there!

Partial erections are not particularly uncommon or abnormal especially around adolescence. The occur in response to sexual thoughts or tactile stimulus and should subside on its own. You could try wearing loose fitting clothing to prevent tactile stimulus/ erections. If the erection does not return to the normal flaccid state in 2-6 hours or gets painful, it is advised to visit the ER.
Hope the information is helpful.

Take care!

I guess a better way to describe it is that my penis rarely goes fully soft... It's always at least a little erect
