Hi,
A dead testicle is due to a decreased or absence of blood supply. Sudden pain, swelling or lump of testicle, redness of the scrotum, lower abdominal pain and nausea or vomiting may be observed. Was there a a trauma or injury to this location? What other signs or symptoms present? To confirm this diagnosis, you may need to have a scrotal ultrasound done. If this is the case, removal of the dead testicle is usually advised to prevent infection. It is best to see your doctor for proper evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.
