ED

Hi my name is jay and i was wondering how you can tell if you have nerve damage to the penis?
I did some jelqing and stretching exercises for a while and stopped a year ago.Since then my erections arent the same. I dont get erections at night, in the morning, or throughout the day. I only get them when im stimulated (ex sexual intercourse) but even then its never a full 100% erection like it use to be before these exercises. Once stimulation stops, my erection wont stay up, it immediatly goes down. Could i have caused some lasting damage? Im 18 years old. can you help me please, thanks

Thanks for the advice but this is not very helpful unfortuantely. i have seen a urologist who was very biased and said "oh your too young to have a physical problem its all psychological". I asked to have my tissues and nerves in the genital area scanned for any damage and all he said was "oh we dont do that, theres no such device". I know there are doppler scans and ultrasounds that can reveal any damage but i was denied any of this. So im trying to eliminate possibilities on my own since these guys wont help me. Thats why i asked how can you tell if you have nerve damage? i dont feel any pain, could this be a sign that my nerves are fine? I have no idea what the problem is, i cant maintain or get a full erection. Any erection i get can only come from physical stimulation which if discontinued, my erection immediatly goes down.

Hi

The causes for erectile dysfunction (ED) can be due to physical and psychological conditions

Some of the physical causes can be:
Cardiac disease, blood vessel abnormalities, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, medications etc

Some of the psychological causes can be depression, anxiety, stress, etc.

You should get yourself evaluated by a specialist doctor as ED can have physical and psychological complications and sometimes ED is the first sign of an underlying medical condition. The doctor should be able to find out the cause for ED and then prescribe appropriate treatment for the same.

Take care and do write in if you need more information.
Regards
