Give anything for help!

Hi people. I have a very serious problem (like many of us). About 4 years ago I started peeing more and more. Now it has progressed to a constant thing, sometimes I'll go 50-60 times a day/night. There's also pressure on my bladder and pain at times. Erections have become almost impossible, as I usually still have to urinate. I will leak every time after urinating and especially after bowel movements.

Now, the hard part about this is that I've seen 6 urologists, 1 GP, 1 proctologist, and 1 pain management dr. I've had 3 cystoscopy's, 5 bladder injections (with the dso cocktail), and tried about 4 or 5 overactive bladder medications. In fact, I just started a new gel medication 2 days ago. The problem is that I've always been prone to constipation and when I take these meds, it just gets out of control. Even with a prescription strength laxative. This of course makes it worse.

The last few Dr's have been highly recommended and researched but with no results. I've become suicidal and don't know how much longer I can live with this. *Please don't turn this into a suicide prevention thread, I just want to give an idea of how much this condition has progressed.

I just need an idea of what to do next. I don't expect a magic solution but I'm lost and confused and have no idea what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

You said "I just need an idea of what to do next".
Do this Yog pranayam, and it will help with the bladder and related problems.Allow a few weeks to notice any benefits, but do it seriously with concentration. You will be glad you came on the forum.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after 1 minute.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day.  Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Anulom Vilom - Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 10 times

All this may look new to you, but this is the way to help the body to bring back its systems into balance.Drink warm water.Mentally you will feel better in days.

hi I read your story and that is baffaling! Can't your doctors do surgery on your bladder? When you asked the doc what made you start doing this what was his explanation? How much liquid are you drinking a day? I hope they find an answer for you soon! aheart

It is always so devastating to live with something that you can not find the answer to. For 20 years I went through so many drs to find out what was wrong with my voice, rather I called it speech, because I had trouble saying words, they would just go into silence as I would speak. I kept up the fight though with determination. It had a big affect on my life because I had a public job. The more I talked the worse it got. I could not go through drive thru food places because my voice would not carry, just go empty. I know your problem is much worse, but continue to search. Don't give up. If there is a teaching hospital near you, try one of those drs. They have teachers that are drs and you can see them. They stay up on all the new techniques and they usually get the patients that other drs can't help. You will find the answer, but you must be determined to not stop searching until you find the answer, and how the problem can be solved. Research the internet if you haven't to see if you can find the symptoms. Write down when it started and the symptoms and how it progressed, what was going on physically. You may find something to lead you to the answer. I put information on the computer with dates of my medical history, meds, surgeries, all of it. When I go to the dr I print it out and it saves a lot of writing. I have my drs names that I have seen and their address and phone numbers. I have found it helps a lot to give it to the dr and it brings out things we may forget to say. I hope this will help you in some way.

You need to address how this has affected you mentally. I know what it did to me. Make an appointment to see a psychiatrist asap. You don't need to add to what you seeking an answer to. Death is not an answer. Something is not working properly and it just has not been found yet, but continue to search for it.
