How do I cure penis head irritation after fixing phimosis?

I had phimosis for a while so I started stretching naturally until it became fully retractible a year or so ago, although still a bit tight. The penis head was still sensitive to touch but I got rid of all the smegma underneath and started washing everyday.  It still is sensitive to touch as I keep the penis head covered other than when I wash but not as much as when I first uncovered the whole penis head. I've noticed recently that part of the penis head is a bit pink. I'm guessing it's a bit irritated as it stings a bit when I get shampoo or body wash on it. How do I treat this?
