I peed a lot of blood

I'm a 57 year old male. Last night I woke up in the early morning, and I went to pee. First it was urine, and then it was all blood. I couldn't believe my eyes, the bowl was red from blood. I felt no pain. I went to pee a few other times since last night, but I peed normal, just urine. I'm very worried. What's the cause of it?

You probably  have a UTI.

I went to an urologist. He said it's not UTI. He nscheduled me for next week, to check my prostate by inserting a microcamera through the urethra. I haven't felt any pain, or another incident, after that time last week, when I peed a lot of blood. I'm afraid it could be something very serious, like cancer, god forbid
