Lump on testicle

Hello.  A little while ago i noticed a small lump on my right testicle.  It was only slightly painful when direct pressure was applied.  It has since disappeared.  In the past couple days, I have noticed another small lump, same conditions, but on my left testicle.  Wondering if this is common?  How long I should keep an eye on it till i get it checked?

I am at a loss to explain a true testes mass that changes sides. I wonder if you are not feeling something in your epididymides. In any case, however, if the mass persists for more than 2 weeks, I would have it examined by a physician.

I would also like to add that the lump is the only problem I am experiencing.  Slight discomfort is caused only when I apply pressure when examining it.  There is no other constant pain.
