Not sure what's going on...UTi -> ED?

I'm a 19 year old male who just recovered from a re-occuring UTI. It first hit me in December then antibiotics took care of it until it returned in February where Macrobid finally did the job and all the symptoms cleared up (frequency, urgency, unable to fully empty bladder. no pain or bloody pee).

I am a sexually active male, however, no vaginal sex yet with my partner (so only handjob & *******). We do plan to have sex but I am very nervous to do so with my current situation. Currently, I've noticed that my erections aren't as hard as they used to be back in December. It is a lot more difficult to get one and maintain it. Getting an erection was super easy and waiting for it to go away was a long wait. Now it's hard to get it and easy for it to go away. I took a blood test for diabetes and it was clear. No STDs for me and my partner.

I eat healthy and I exercises 4 - 5 times a week, weights and cardio. I am a non-smoker and a light drinker.

Could this UTI I had have any impact on my regular sexual functions?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
In your case the weak erections look psychological because earlier you were having good erections. Common causes causing erection problem are stress and anxiety, poor communication with your partner, unrealistic sexual expectations, which make sex a task rather than a pleasure, negative feelings about non performance, smoking, alcohol and sometimes illicit drugs.

Talk to your partner openly about any fears or apprehensions, eat nutritious healthy food, exercise regularly and cut down on smoking or alcohol if you are taking it.
If still a problem then get it evaluated from a urologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

I am a 21 year old male with epilepsy.  I was diagnosed with a UTI about 6 months ago.  A doctor prescribed me a antibiotic and it seemed to go away.  About a month later it returned.  I noticed blood was still present in the urine.  I went back and he scheduled a MRI.  They found nothing abnormal so he said if it came back he would send me to a specialist.  What do you know, it did.  He referred me to a urologist.  Before seeing the urologist I had sex and could not keep it up.  I was really embarassed.  I also noticed that I have a lack of sex drive and do not masturbate as often (sometimes going days/week at a time with little satisfaction and half erections).  I do not wake up with morning erections nor do I want to ever masturbate which is unusual for me.  When I do drink it seems to get worse, so I stopped that altogether.  I am also a smoker but, have cut back A LOT!!!!.  I also sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with extreme kidney pain and lower abdominal pain.  When going to see the urologist I told him of my sexual incident and he says it has nothing to do with my problems but, I beg to differ because I have noticed a change.  He scheduled me to have a cystoscopy (they stick a teloscope up the penis to look inside your bladder).  I recently had another episode of extreme kidney pain and groin pain and it seems that it has worsened.  I am tired of going from doctor to doctor and getting half-*** answers and nothing to diagnose.  I plan on calling the urologist and sticking it to him (as nicely as I can).
  If you have any answers at all it would be greatly appreciated Thank You.

Thanks sun2810.

The latest urine sample I did came back with no signs of infection (back in late february). However, it did show a little more protein than usual, like 0.3 more. I have Whey Protein Isolate included in my diet so i dunno if that is a contributing factor.
