Pain / Irritation feeling perianal area.

Last June 10th I had brief protected intercourse, but penis didn't get complete hard. At the end of encounter proceeded to masturbate still with penis not so erect. I masturbated also the next day, and also on the 12th. On the 15th at night I started having a heavy sensation on my perianal area. If I had to describe it, it would be like if someone was pressing your Anus with thumb. And that pain radiates a little towards my back urethra. Feels like irritation inside, pain, pressure on anus and back urethra. Front is fine. No burning while peeing. No rash. Is just back urethral canal and perianal area, anus. Pressure, slight pain.

This is not the first time this happens
To me . But this situation is always preceded by the same scenarios. Hard manipulation ( masturbation) of penis during encounter where penis is not that hard. Or when there is interaction with condom on an penis not hard, but no soft either.

Could this sensation I am having be a result of a trauma I self provoked?

Could this be yeast infection? It STD? I used protection, and was just brief (20-30 seconds)

Would love to hear your opinion plz.

Thanks for all the info... It is really appreciated.

You are correct... I didn't mention having any discharge of burning while urinating.. Or itching. None of that. It has been 5 days already, and the pain is concentrated just on anal region. Is clearly felt as pain. As if someone was putting pressure there with a thumb. And yes, i have experienced this sx before.

I am seeing my urologist again.. But like I said, my main concern right now is that if  this could be STD related, or another prostatitis episode. And well this was a no more than 30 seconds Protected encounter actually. I was using protection. And like I said there is no burning, no itching and no discharge.  It all started as pain on anal region and stayed on that area. Can an STD start as a pain in anal region? Considering I have never had anal sex? I really hope that's not part of what is called 'normal' or 'Typical'. What do you think?

But with all the info you just gave me about prostatitis ( which clearly matches mine) I feel a little more relieved. And you say prostatitis can be recurrent... And In this case it does look like a chronic situation. This comes and goes with months ( if not days) of interval.

Hi Again,

I have some suspicions as to what may be causing your SX (symptom). Seeing as how you describe your main SX to be pressure and slight pain in the urethral canal and perianal area  - and because you have already been DX (diagnosis) in the past with Prostatitis - I think you may be experiencing another bout of Prostatitis.

If you've done some research as I am guessing you have you'll know that chronic prostatitis can be described as persistent relapsing pain or discomfort in any of the following areas:  Urethra, Between rectum and testicles (perineum), Tip of the penis (not related to urination), Below the waist, in your pubic or bladder area and/or Testicles.

Chronic prostatitis is notorious for waxing and waning. The pain can recede for hours, even days, then return inexplicably with force. Some people experience remissions which can last months to years, then have another flare-up.

STDs normally present with urethral itching, burning when urinating and a discharge from the penis and more sx.I didn't read that you had any of those sx. It can be difficult to determine if you have an STD or Prostatitis - unless you are tested and examined by a physician.

You state you had "brief" unprotected sex. Unfortunately even in a brief encounter you may contact a STD with an infected partner. Please be cautious - and please consult your physician. It doesn't matter if you have
STD or Prostatitis - both will require treatment.

I hope something I've said here was of help.

Best of luck,
~Tuck

Thx for your opinion. At least can you let me know what might be causing this? What could this be related to?  (might be out of context, but need to point out that I don't practice anal sex ) Could this be related with prostate? Last time I had this same symptoms urologist detected mild prostatitis.  Trauma? And main thing: can this be part of an STD symptom?

My opinion is that you need to consult a Urologist, especially if this has occurred in the past.

I could only guess  possibilities - guessing is not what you need. You need a medical professional to do a thorough examination and work up.

Best of luck to you.

Peace,
