Penis Glans Sensitivity

For about 4 months I've had extreme penis glans sensitivity.  Last sexual experiences were protected (well before onset of pain), I've had back pain, with new meds and over the counter stuff.  When it was at its worst, I'd get shocked with excessive rubbing on clothes. What are some causes of this pain?   I've seen a urologist, he said just give it more time.  Erections are harder, thought this may be aggravating it.  Trying to make changes to diet, clothes, etc.  Thank you very much for any help!

The spine doc said no correlation of injection to penis glans nerves and pain.  I do feel the injection did affect erections, so if you're a male think twice on spinal injections.  In my appointment, urologist found a hydrocele, guess buy one get on free.  No doubt now it's just build up of friction with little relief on pain.
       If I wore tight briefs, is there side effects from glans getting purple or darker purple from that tight fit?  Thought of putting part of condom over glans, though skin won't breath.  I'm trying to think of how to protect glans with all the friction on clothes.

After a long time of running through all the causes for my penis glans sensitivity, my urologist said it may be spinal cord related.  I had an injection in lower back and these symptoms developed soon after.  Said L1 L2 thinning, nerve compression may be cause to hypersensitivity to penis glans. Advice for anyone with this condition check your lower back with a doctor.  Would spinal decompression work?  I'll get with my orthopedic Dr and post a follow up.  Forum is good to get our experiences down too.

Hi,

It seems that you may have inflammation of the surface due to allergy or excessive friction the site. You may have to get this examined and treated at the earliest.
