Penis Injury untreated years later.

I have had problems holding my erection. I never had this problem pervious to an injury I had. My penis always had a strong down curvature as I was growing up. I was engaged in some sexual foreplay with a woman and she kept pulling it up. I felt a little discomfort but nothing server then I noticed a fair amount of blood coming out of the tip of penis. We stopped and that was that. I didn't feel any great discomfort it was a little sore. Then as time went on I noticed my erections where not as strong and my penis didn't have the rigidity it once had it bends back easily. As time passed it seemed to get harder and harder to get and maintain an erection. I can’t seem to hold blood pressure in my penis. I also notice that I have a dark line under my penis. I think I may have ignored a rupture of the deep dorsal vein. I never had a loud noise or popping sound. Now I feel this has lead me down a road of ED. At this last stage what should I do? I can get an erection but must be very stimulated to maintain it. My wife feels as if she is not taking care of my needs now. Please give me guidance on this matter. I know at this last stage on non-treatment I may have a bigger situation to deal with. Because of the shame I have not sought treatment, I live in China now and that only complicates the situation. Thank you for any help you may offer.

Hello Dr. Kaul, You must have missed the issue I have. I am in China and don't feel comfortable going in to a Doctor here. I don't know how to talk to an English speaking Doctor non the less a Chinese speaking doctor. I also don't like that I have to gift (yes bribe him) to get help. This is common in China for most doctors I am sure it is not all but so far it seems to run true.

As far as possible reason stated above I don't have any issue so to speak. We all have issues but non of what you listed except peyronies disease I don't think a person can know if that have that with out being tested. I know that this is the standard reply ... I have read many others in response to others questions. I know that I wont get a real answer till I get back stateside and see someone. I was just asking for a possible cause due to the reasons I stated before. I have lived with it for a few years and will have to a little longer until 2014 when I go back home. I was looking for a little insight. If you think of anything drop me a line and thank you for your time and consideration.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of the symptoms. Erectile dysfunction can develop due to a variety of causes. Psychological stress, performance anxiety, depression, neurogenic disorders peyronie's disease, body image issues, medications, alcohol, smoking, drugs/medications, hormonal imbalance, radiation therapy, kidney failure, metabolic disorders, multiple sclerosis, hypertension, diabetes, prostatitis, urethritis etc. just to name a few. I would suggest considering a detailed evaluation by a urologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Hope this helps.

Take care!
