Possible skin condition on glans

For a few months now, I've had a slightly raised spot on my glans. Its slightly red, and the skin dries out and peels from time to time. Its in one centralized area, doesn't seem to be growing in seperate bumps or patches. The area in which it covers seems to be expanding, but not at a rapid pace. I went to my urologist, who said "It doesnt look like cancer" and brushed it off. However, I don't trust my local health system very much after a botched diagnosis with a family member. I was told no follow up was necessary, however this condition doesnt seem to be going away on its own. Most likely, ill go back in anyway, but I'd like an opinion on what this possibly could be?
