Purple Corona for over a year

Hello, I'm an uncircumsized male and still a virgin. I used to have difficulty pulling my forskin back all the way esp during errections. I eventually strecthed it so I could pull it back enough to expose the entire head. I have been thinking about circumsission for awhile now. Ove a year ago,  I noticed that my corona had become a purpleish hue, and sometimes my inner forskin gets irretated. It was getting ready to deploy overseas, for I'm a soldier. I had hoped it would heal on it's own, but never has. It does not hurt in any way, nor is it soar. However, it changes color frequently, if i've just taken a shower, it looks almost completly normal, but right after errection, and sometime while not errect it can get very dark purple.

I'm going to see a Urologist as soon as I get home, does this sound like penile cancer, or is it something else. I hope to God it's not cancer, but I'm redploying home soon and not much I can do in a desert until about a month from now except find answers online. Please let a proffesional Eurologist give me your point of view on the matter.

Thanks SO much

I have the same issue. I recently got scared about a darker purplish look to the corona, although it seems to come and go - in the bath it doesn't seem to show at all, but under dimmer lights it looks very dark and I got all sorts of thoughts that I may have gangrene or something! It's so hard to know what is normal because I've never seen another **** close up let alone discuss this with someone. Now reading your comment, I feel somewhat reassured because what you've described is exactly what I have. I actually think it may be due to rubbing against underwear and clothing. Since I changed to briefs there has been left friction. Perhaps you could try this.
