Raised/inflamed Meatus

Shortly after receiving a rough ******** a part of my meatus became raised.  It's a sore area (doesn't sting necessarily) and the longer I go without sexual activity the better it starts to feel.  I've had this since early june (it's now august), however, and the soreness has never completely gone away (it's intermittent now).  I've had two std screenings (urinalysis and urethral swab).  I'm negative for syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, HIV and they have not found any white blood cells in my urine or in the swab.  I've also had a 1 gram dose of azithromycin given to me, just in case I did have something bacterial.

Did I just do mechanical damage? Do I have a fungal infection?  Is it something else?

If anyone could offer any advice I would appreciate it.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
From the symptoms the possibility of urethritis needs to be evaluated. The other possibility is of chafing due to friction rub. It looks like urethritis which may be due to non gonococcal causes. Urethritis is inflammation of the urethra. Urethritis is not diagnosed by a urine test but be urethral swab culture and examination of the swab. Other test useful in diagnosis is digital rectal exam (DRE) to inspect the prostate gland for swelling or infection. Also try avoiding having intercourse with a full bladder. Please consult a urologist and get an examination of the urine and prostatic secretions before and after massage.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
