Red blood droplets in urine. Could it be caused by Tamsulosin?

Hello:  3 days ago i started seeing actual blood in my urine, at he beginning of the action (peeing).  I saw it one more time that day at the end of that day and since then every day, about 2-3 times a day either at the beginning or at the end of peeing.  The rest of the time I did not notice red blood but urine was a bit colored so it could have been present..  I am also seeing occasionally little blood cloths.  I have no pain anywhere nor problems urinating.  I am a 55 year old male and been taking Tamsulosin for about 7-10 months.  Statistically I have an increase chance to have bladder problems, but nobody in my family had issues.  True that my dad died at 57 due to prostate and/or brain cancer (had them both). My PSA is within limits and doctor's exam (you, know the "fun" part) was OK.  Anyway my question is related to what is the simplest explanation, so I can make peace in my head (and not think of the worst) while I wait for the CT and urology visits at the end of the week.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Thank you.
