Self cathing probkem

I have been self cathing for almost 14 years.  Other than the ocassionsl uti... No problems.  I had a surgery recently that required me to wear a Foley catheter.  I removed it Friday... Cathed as usual Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Sunday night I could not get urine while sitting on the toilet.  I layed in the bed and was able to get urine.  Today is Wednesday and I still can't Cath while sitting on the toilet, only laying down.  While attempting from the toilet position, there is blood on the catheter.
