Swollen left vas deferan, slight dull pain

Doctor, i really need your help.

I have been experiencing a swollen left vas deferan , it all started about 4 month ago where i would get this slight pain which at first i thought was a testicle pain , but with time feeling it , i realized that its actually coming from the vas deferan, the pain also kind of shoots off to my left inner top thigh.. the swelling would come and go and come back again , i would also get this dull pain on the base of my penis as well. I also have problem with erection lately due to a pain and every time i pee i have dripping issue when i go back to work.. I am pretty sure this is some kind of a urinary track infection which lately have been progressing...

I went to urologist and have been on doxycycline  for one month and after taking a week of for another month , which helped me and made the pain go away along with the swelling , unfortunately as soon as i stopped taking it the pain and swelling came back. after 3 weeks of that my other urologist put me on levaquin 10 pills and it also helped me , pain went away and swelling,  well at least to my knowledge.. as soon as i stopped a day or two later it all came back , so a week after it I went back to the doctor and he prescribed an additional 21 pills which i taking at this moment 500mg pills once a day..

I have found a forum which has over 10 pages of comments where guys are suffering from the same problem..
Some people suggest the following antibiotics but i am not sure if this is the right approach here are the antibiotics one guy suggested:

-Ceftriaxone (Rocephin) - As a single dose either in a shot or through an IV line
-Doxycycline (Vibramycin) - Pills twice a day for 10 days in addition to the shot of Ceftriaxone
-Ofloxacin (Floxin) - Pills twice a day for 10 days (an alternative treatment)

I am trying to find the right antibiotics for this problem doctor and really need your help.

thank you.

I assume there have been urethral cultures done to rule out uncommon bacteria that may have been the cause, though the most common problem, Chlamydia, is usually not found and patients are usually treated on the basis of symptoms.
You have had several courses of antibiotics any one of which should have been adequate to treat infections in this area. The fact that things got better on the antibiotic means that it was the correct one. The bacteria are killed or they are not.
If only the swelling but not the pain returns, I cannot explain. I would recommend just observing what is happening every few months. You could try a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen for a week or two. If you are not allergic, do not have any problem with kidney function and do not have any ulcer history, you could take 600mg.four times per day for a week and see if this makes a difference.
The dripping after urinating is something that often occurs as we get older and is not related to a urinary tract infections. You may have to wait a few seconds longer at the urinal or consider taking a medication such as Uroxatral for the rest of your life to try and control this.
If you have had scrotal trauma to initiate this whole chain of events, then the issue may be strictly one of persistent inflammation, but then why did the antibiotic work at all?
Talk further with your urologist.
