Testicle pain

Hi,

I had ultrasound done and came back with:

1-Normal appearance of both testes.
2- Tiny left epididymal cyst and tiny left sided hydrocele ( Is this normal ? )

Is that from infection or any STDS ?

Thank you.

Hello,
Herpes presents as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. Typically, another outbreak can appear weeks or months after the first, but it almost always is less severe and shorter than the first outbreak.

If you have such symptoms then herpes can be ruled out by blood tests.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hello,
Hydrocele is a collection of sterile fluid in the cord attached to the testicle, which is invariably harmless. Left untreated, a hydrocele can grow to a large size and cause discomfort, so they are usually best drained early.

Epididymal cyst or spermatocele is a retention cyst of the epididymis and when it is small, it is painless but larger ones may cause pain. In your case, hydrocele can be responsible but for that it should be a large hydrocele.

I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a urologist for this testicular pain.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
