Urethra Narrowing?

Hello,

First, thank you to everyone who ever takes the time to read and support those of us in need - such a blessing.

Second, I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. Had a vigorous sexual encounter almost 9 weeks ago. A week later, started experiencing slight burn after urination, the need to urinate a bit more, itchy/red scrotum. Fast forward 9 weeks, I’ve been cleared of any/all STIs, my prostate is fine, and all of the UAs I’ve taken have come back normal (though I was on a week of cipro and a week of doxy when it took two of them). I went to a urologist 3 weeks ago and was told to limit alcohol, spices, etc, which I did. And sadly it didn’t help. I went back to my PCP and we both thought that a yeast infection could be the culprit, so I was given fluconizole and terbinifine. I’m now 1/2 way through and it seems like the itchy/red is going away. However, the random burn after urination is still here. Not all the time, but occasional. Two nights ago I couldn’t escape the feeling of having to urinate, even though I know nothing was there. The last change I’ll mention is that, when I’m done urinating, there’s still a significant amount of urine to shake out. A lot more than usual. Which leads me to my next question…

Has anyone experienced urethral narrowing or treated urethral narrowing? I can’t find any other cause than this?  I am completely lost at this point and don’t know what to do! I have one final appt with a urologist this week and I literally don’t know what to say, or what to ask? All that I know is that pain in the tip is random, not constant, I don’t know if it would be worth being swabbed (haven’t had that done yet)? I’ve tried to read about the symptoms of narrowing, but I don’t understand how severe they would really be. If someone could share any insight, I would greatly appreciate it. I’ve done my best to work with doctors to determine the problem, but I feel like I’ve been somewhat blown off and I only have one more referral left.

This is not an STI issue, so I'm going to get this moved to Urology.

Take care.
