Urinating pain and constant discomfort in evenings

I am 14 years old and when I urinate I get a burning pain. Also in the evenings I constantly need the toilet, but nothing actually comes out. The constant discomfort only happens in the evening, not during the day. If I just drink a lot more water will this go away?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From your symptoms it can be due to urinary tract infection. To diagnose a UTI please get a complete urine examination and urine culture done. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever. Drink plenty of water but if the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a urologist and get kidney stones ruled out by getting a CT KUB (kidney, urinary bladder).

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
