What to do about painful urination.
Forgot I was wearing a **** ring and went to pee. Ouch! Took it off fast. Finished urinating. There was no sign of blood then or now. No problem voiding bladder, but feels like i need to urinated due to lingering discomfort from original urination. Phenazopyridine hydrochloride has proven to be helpful in temporarily alleviating the discomfort. What is my best course of action?
I think since the Phenazopyridine HCl (sold under trade names such as Azo & Uricalm) is working, just keep taking that, I’m thinking this will resolve on its own within a week or two. If not, see your Dr or a Urologist. I think this was just a temporary irritation that should heal on its own...
