Is strong pain in stomach area normal after lithotripsy

I had lithotripsy 7 days ago, for the 2nd time and removal of stent.  For 2 days after, I had severe diarrhea and throwing up, with a low fever of 98.8.  After 7 days, I still have very painful "stomach" pain, and stomach area hurts when I walk.  I really don't have any pain in my left side of back where stones were.. It fills like someone used my stomach for a punching bag. My stomach area is very tender to touch.  I haven't really been able to eat anything other than soup, as I still have some bouts with the diarrhea.  I called my Dr. after 4 days, and talked to her nurse, she said this normal, because the settings were a little stronger.  Is this normal.
