What to do about post-hydrocele surgery seroma?

I had a hydrocele repair surgery nine days ago, no drain was used. 24 hours after surgery there was no swelling and no fluid. Roughly 48 hours after surgery the area surrounding testicle ballooned up with seroma, according to my doctor. I have a follow-up appointment in a month, says if it hasn't resolved he will aspirated the fluid.

The swelling with the seroma is larger than before the hydrocele surgery and concerns me. Will the fluid go away?
