Why am I having problems controlling my bladder?

This is really embarassing. I am a 33 year old female with no children. Gor the past few years I've noticed I have a hard time holding my urine. In the past year I have wet my pants a total of 4 times. The worst was last week, and was the most embarassing moment of my life. I was at the drug store, and suddenly had to use the bathroom. I thought I had time to check out, but while the cashier was ringing me up, I completely lost control and urinated right on the floor. I ran out of the store as fast as I could. Everyday I have a little leakage while running to the bathroom, but last week was the worst. Should I see my doctor about this, could it be a sign of something bad? I'm only 33, I shouldn't be losing bladder control already, right?
