Will my vericose vein be deformed?

Hi everyone. I'm 27 years old male. I've been suffering from continuous urinary problems since December, 2008.

At first a GP told me that it was from urinary tract infection and put on one month of antibiotics. It was normal for next one or two month but came back when I was masterbating. Then I went to a specialist of Gaesteroenterology and Medicine who found out, after several tests, that I was having Hepatitis B, a very small and ignorable cyst in my right kidney. He also told me that the urinary problem might have came from UTI and too given me antibiotics for two months. The problem did not went away completely.

In the meantime, I myself noticed that the problem, slight and occasional sharp pain in right groin, comes back when I do excessive hardwork, like lifting weights or rushing to do anything. When I went to the gaesteroenterogist again for it, he referred me to an urologist. This doctor, after doing some routine urine tests, told me that I am no problem in my scortum and groin area. He suggested that I'm worrying too much, and that I should take some anti-depressent. I was not happy with his analysis and this occasional pain went on throughout the year of 2009.

So I went to another urologist on around November 2009 after having a different problem. The problem now was in my right testicle of a feeling like some warms are crawling there. He revealed after doing culture test and ultrasound scan that I had chronic epididymitis. He told me to take Cipro for two weeks. I completed the course but it came back in the new form after masterbation or hardwork. He again told me take Cipro for one week, but the problem still persists whenever I set out to do the above described things.

Now, it would be a great favor if  anyone would please help resolve some of my confusions:

Is there any trace of bacterial infection remaining in my testicles, as the last urologist suggested that some bacterial infection could stay in scortum althought the culture test didn't show it?

Is my problem developing into something else like vericocele, as I feel the same 'crawling of warm sensation but not bulging veins' in my left testicle?

What can I do to self help myself because I'm just fed up with different doctors' approaches to my problem?

Hi,
I can understand the pain and agony you’re going though. In view of the symptoms which you have described, the possibility of the scrotal pain being due to the varicocele seems minimal, although it presents with the feeling of increased warmthness of the scrotum but usually the ultrasound of the scrotum is able to pick up the diagnosis. The possibility of chronic epididymitis or chronic prostatitis seems more likely as they present with chronic pain along with the recurrent urinary infections. I’ll suggest getting an ultrasound of the prostate also to rule out the possibility of chronic prostatitis. The treatment consists of a 6 week course of antibiotics and prostatic massage. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
