brown spot on penis - damaged blood vessel? - PIC ATTACHED

Hi, about 10 days ago I noticed a brown spot about 1.5mm on the underside of my penis head, along one of the ridges extending down from the slit.  It is not painful, but if i apply pressure it does feel more sensitive on the spot.  The spot has not grown in size or darkened over the 10 days I've been watching it.  There may have been a slight lightening and shrinking but at a snail's pace.  I have also felt a very slight tension along the shaft of the penis on the same side as the spot, though not constantly.  I am thinking this is a damaged blood vessel, from masturbation.  Can you take a look at the pic and give me any advice?  I have tried arnica and haven't had sex or masturbated since I noticed it.  Is there anything else I can do to aid recovery?  Is it best to lay off masturbating until full recovery?  I am mid 30's and never have unprotected sex.

Thank you so much, any wisdom will really help me get some peace of mind on this.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
I am not able to view the picture which you sent (no longer  present on the web site.). What you describe sounds as though there may have been some bleeding under the skin. Leaving your penis alone until the area clears up is my best advice. If the findings are sill present in a month, you should see a urologist.
The findings sound to be that of local trauma, not a sexually transmitted  disease.
Give it time.
