burning in urethra
I am annoyed. Having a burning in my urethra..even when i dont pee or ejaculate..its always there..im on day 5 of doxycycline and nothing has improved. Any help here?

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include GU infections resistant to doxycycline, inflammations, trauma, erosions, ulcers etc. Since there has not been any improvement with the antibiotic, I would suggest seeking a review with your treating urologist for a detailed evaluation for other possibilities. After a specific cause is identified, it can be managed accordingly.
