dried blood in urin

I was treated for prostate cancer approximately 22 mos ago.  I had breaky therapy performed...approx 120 seeds permanently put into my prostate.  PSA dropped dramatically as we do 2 mos blood checks...however, in the past 3-4 weeks i have noticed approx once a week when i urinate that at the beginning of urination, a very small amount (approx 1 cm in length) "string" of what i presume is tried blood comes out.

I'm wondering if this is a sign of anything i should be concerned about or a natural part of the changing of tissues within my prostate...my concern is this would be a bladder and not a prostate issue...could the two be related?

I should add I posted a very simple suggestion to rule out bleeding from the bladder. Finding the source of the bleeding, if not from the bladder, may be more complicated.

I am not a doctor, but it does sound like blood clots from the bladder. You might want to see a urologist to test for blood in the urine and possibly a cystoscope.

Good luck.
