Hello,
It can be due to contact dermatitis, allergic reaction, fungal infection, scabies or sexually trasnsmitted disease.
Most cases respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Also wear cotton clothes and keep the area dry. In case the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist for evaluation. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
i will talk to her for sure! hopefully its that .
thanks very much!!!
No nothing else, I think that's your issue right there. She should get treated for thrush/Candida infection (the most common type of yeast infection). If gone untreated or treated poorly, then it can spread to the rest of the body, which might explain her sores..although I'm not sure that it can cause sores. Not a lot of research has been done for Candida infections.
Either way, it's difficult to spread to males because the male reproductive organs are enclosed. Usually you'll just have irritation. You might want to discuss this with her and see what treatments are available.
i dont know if she has thrush if she did i probably would ? she does seem to have yeast infections often or high levels of yeast. she gets sores on her arms and back that she claims is from yeast. i am sure its not crabs! doesnt look like any herpes that ive seen photos of . what other info would help?
thanks
It could be a mild form of balanitis, which is an irritation of the penis...assuming you are male..? Does your partner have thrush? That may be causing the irritation.
Also, it is possible that it is an STD. Crabs or herpes.
