red particals in urine?

hello.
i was curious as to if anyone has any idea what i might be passing in my urine?
I went to the ER a few days ago and they said that i have a 4mm kidney stone that had just dropped. i still havent passed the stone yet, but the past 10+ times i have urinated i have been passing small red particals that look somewhat like small little blood clots but im not positive (my urine is also darker). Ive never had that happen with a stone before. I alse just had a diagnostic laproscopy two weeks ago.
If anyone has any idea's about these particals could be from please let me know. thank you

thank you for your help! the laproscopy was done to check for endometriosis because i was having alot of the symptoms. as for the results, i do have mild endo, and they also found a large cyst on my ovary that they drained. It has been six days now since they diagnosed the 4mm kidney stone, and i still havent passed it, and im still having really bad kidney pain.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!

Stones in the urinary tract can cause blood in urine in form of clots. What was diagnostic laproscopy done for? Stones? In that case maybe there is a bleeding point inside bladder or kidney or ureter that is resulting in clots. It could also be due to polyps in bladder. What was the result of laproscopy.
It is difficult to comment beyond this without further details. Please discuss this with your doctor.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
