I posted earlier about my super embarassing problem of ejaculating during my testicular sonogram following a wrestling injury to my testicles. When I called to get my results the receptionist transferred me back to the same tech again, he said there is a problem with the sperm he collected and I need to retest and he said they need to redo the sonogram as well, because the data was accidentally erased! How could that happen? He could tell I was upset, and knows I have major financial problems, which I reminded him again. I said I didn't want to pay another co-pay. I told him I wanted to speak to my doctor, his boss. He asked me not to and said that he might lose his job for error. He said that if I give my consent, he could "make it up to me." They need a subject to do an educational video on testicular sonogram proceedure and he could pay me $300. (Enough to cover my rent for February that I'm missing!). He said that that way we could "kill two birds with one stone" by getting the sonogram and the sperm sample again, and I would get paid for the video. I asked if a female tech could do the proceedure for the video, and he said that unfortunately, he needs to do the video since he is the most experienced technician and it is for his school. It would happen after hours when the clinical office is usually closed, at 8 PM. I'm not sure I could go through that ordeal again. But my wife and I REALLY need the money because we are both unemployed. I hate that I even have to consider this as an option, but I'm desperate for money. Does this sound normal? Should I do this again?

Hi,

the blue pills and the dizzy feeling that you experienced are realted. Viagra and other beta blocker work on the principle of dialating blood vessels. By dialating blood vessels, blood flow to the penis is increased. In a male without erectile disfunction, one would conclude that it most definitely would result in an erection.
Why did you feel dizzy? By dialating the blood vessels, you also lower the blood pressure, this is the reason as to why you felt dizzy.

Just this January, I ended up with bi'lateral pneumonia. Since I used an asthma inhaler it elevated my heart rate. In doing so the blood pressure droppe dangerously low. If I had it correct, it dropped to about 60 over 40. They panicked and put liquids into me to raise the blood pressure. Due to the drop in blood pressure, I was extreme dizzy and sick to my stomach. I could not go to the bathroom on my own and had to resort to the bed pan and comode beside my bed. Luckily I had a catheter in so I did not have to worry about urination.

Don't go back to this technician.

I'm some what starting to doubt the story a bit.
Having gotten away with what this so called lab technician did, once is likely. The fact that they request a second video session seems very unlikely.

At the time that I had my urodynamics test recorded on video, they were very proffessional in everthing that they did as I had told you.

The incident with the one doctor who touched my penis while he was checking my suprapubic catheter was disciplined as far as I know. I have not seen him since.

I have had some difficult times as well when it comes down to finances. For the last 8 years, I have had to feed my family and keep a roof over their heads on a disability pension of $12650.00 a year. Not easy while paying of a mortgage as well. I would never agree to being abused during a video recording like this.

I will however have a follow up appointment with a urologist on Thursday to discuss an alternative surgery than what was first planned. This surgery will be a life changing event and I'm very uncertain as to what I should do.

I have to advise you not to go in for another video session. I very much doubt the fact that they will need another video for a different teaching institution. They would be able to make another copy from the one that you allready have. I don't know what the situation is like where you are at, but here in Canada, an individual can go to social services to prove that they don't have funds to provide for their families. Based on the situation they will determine if they will help some one. In my case the insurance company from my employer at the time was declining my application for disability insurance. A medical social worker helped me to work with this insurance company and the disability pension to obtain an income source. She made calls and faxed doccuments describing my condition to the insurance company and Canada Pension plan. They finally gave in because they knew that the soicial worker was not paid by me for her services. Had it been a lawyer they would have postponed long enough for me to run out of funds to pay a lawyer.

If you mention your children and can prove that you have no income or savings to supply for them, something like social services would be able to provide you with short term income. Basically a resque situation. They might also assist you in obtaining employement.
One thing that you have to be sure off is that you are not in a lifestyle that comprimises your ability to supply for your children. These stiations are, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, or other forms of wasting funds. In a situation like that social services would most likely remove the children from the situation and put them in foster care.

One thing that you might be able to do if what you are saying is real would be the following. Explain the situation to law enforcement and have them accompany you during this session. Just let them come in as a friend because you are nervous and supposedly brought your friend for moral support. Law enforcement would then be able to see that this technician is doing something illegal. I also doubt very much that there will be a femal technician during this session. The blue pills that you are describing very much sound like Viagra. This drug works by improving blood flow to the penis, aiding in the process of obtaining an erection.
If you are made out to be a fool one time, shame on them. If you let it happen a second time, shame on you.

I wish it was a joke, especially my money probs, that are really bad. My home is about to be foreclosed & I ran out of unemployment several months ago. I feel like at this point because I agreed to the video in writing and took the money, I would get blamed for what happen to me. I don't have a copy of the video & don't want one! Plus even though I write about it here, mo one know what happen to me. I think to tell someone too embarssing. Also I have lot of trumble making good decision in my life. The technician who made the educational video of my testicular sonogram said that his collegue needs to do a video for a different school. He is offering me $400 and an extra $300 if  I take the blue pills to help with blood flow. He promises that a female tech will do the proceedure this time. I don't trust the tech so much after last time but I need the money real bad for my kids. What should I do? Any sugguestions aporciated. Thanks!!!!

Yea. I'm glad I got paid & it's over now. I feel like you might be right that the tech took advantage of me. This whole thing is SO embarrassing I can't imagine telling my wife, much less the police. It's hard for me to understand how a guy touching me could make me ejaculate, since I'm 100% straight & the thought of what happen make me sick. That part bother me the most. Thanks for the support! I have been in a video for training on a urodynamics examination. They asked me if they had my permission to do so and that my face would not be shown on the video.

The hospital where this was done, is also a teaching hospital so their need for doing this video was genuine.

I find your description of what took place in your case difficult to believe.

In my case, I had an early appointment, acutally the first of the day and there fore was requested permission to record the procedure. No compensation was mentioned.

My procedure started by having a nurse direct me to a special toilet that would be able to detect flow and pressure during urination, and was requested to try and urinate in it. The nurse left the toilet area to provide me some privacy. After that was completed, I was directed to a special table that was going to be used during the rest of the urodynamicas test. My penis and rectal area were cleaned with Betadine. After that my foreskin was retrated and a freezing gell was inserted into the urethra. I had my feet put up in stirups and was requested to move my buttocks to the edge of the table.
They then told me what they were going to do, three nurses, (technicians) were involved.
Three different catheters were placed into the penile urethra, and a final fourth catheter was placed in the rectum.
My bladder was slowly filled with sterile water and I was asked to let them know once it felt like I no longer could hold my urine in. Once this time had come, I was asked to try and urinate. I was able to do some with great difficulty. It was then determined that I retained between 100ml. to 200ml. of urine. The remainder of the liguid in my bladder was released by placing a larger gage catheter into my bladder. All catheters were removed and they cleanend the rectal and genital area. I was then directed to an area where I could clean up and dry off some more and then could get dressed again, and was told that I could leave as soon as I was finished.

During the procedure I never felt that in apropiate actions took place. The handled my penis and rectal area, but nothing as strange as what you have reported. The only part that they had some problem with was the fact that my penis was flacid and due to me having a foreskin, the had a bit of a problem pulling the foreskin back and puting the catheters in. Under no circumstance did I feeel that anything sexual took place.

I have had three urodynamics tests and numerous cystoscopies. Again in a cystoscopy on goes through the process of having the penis cleaned, a freezing gell inserted into the urethra. After that the urologist introduces the scope into the meatus of the penis and being progressed into the bladder. Again no sexual activity took place.

About two years ago after having had a suprapubic catheter placed, I ended up with bleeding around the site of the stoma for the catheter. My stoma is located in between the penis and navel. When I got to the local hospital to have this checked out, I noticed our family doctor leaving and her telling to locum doctor on shift to check this out for me. The very first thing that made me feel uneasy was the way that this doctor looked. He had longer hair, not really a beard but unshaven for some days and having an ear ring. Since our family doctor had left, he was the only one available.

He stated to examine me by getting some history about why and when the suprapubic had been placed, as well as obtaining some more information about my urological problems. At this time I thought that I might have been wrong at my first impression of this doctor.

Since I had a legbag to collect the urine, I was asked to remove my pants. The doctor allowed me some time to do so. When he came back he lowered the waisteband of my underwear just enough to have a look at the stoma. Since he could see a fair amount of bleeding he had a nurse bring some supplies and proceeded to clean around my catheter. I thought that this was odd since our family doctors usually had the nurses perform these tasks. After he had cleaned the stoma he left for some minutes and then returned. He placed a dressing on the stoma and then did some things that I felt were in apropriate. He pulled my underwear off a little lower, about to the knee area. He followed the catheter and tubing down to the leg bag. Notice that the catheter was not in the penis and urine had been draining fine so there was no real need to check up on the tubing. He also did not have to remove my enderwear to get a visual of the catheter tubing.
He then proceded to feel around my scrotum. I had lost a testicle after an infection several years prior. I was under the impression that he was looking for the left testicle. He palputated the right and then felt his way around my scrotum. Still even though it being unusual, I was not completely conviced that this was not apropriate. He then took a hold of my penis, palputated the shaft and then retrated the foreskin. I then told him that he had to stop, as I felt that this was unneeded for the examination of the catheter and stoma. I got a feeling that he now realized that I felt that this type of activity was abnormal.
I got dressed and walked over to the nursing desk. I'm very well known by the nursing staff as I have been in the hospital on numerous occasions. I told them what had taken place and they aksed me if I wanted to contact the police. I told them that I felt that this was not neccessary, but that the incedent should be reported to the hospital administrator and regular doctors.
Since that time, I have not seen this doctor back again. The hospital and clinic are low on doctors. Only two are there on a regular basis. When they go on vacation or other occasions when they are absent, other doctors come in to take their place. Some doctors have come to this hospital and clinic on several ocasions.
When I asked the nursing staff about this particular doctor, I was informed that diciplinary action had been taken and that he would no longer practice out of their health region.

What you have written is definitly not the norm. I feel that you should expose this to law enforment (police) as well as to the directors of the clinic where this took place. This should not have to happen to you and others.

To follow up about my testicular sonogram: I finally agreed to do the video when the tech said a female would do the proceedure & he would film it. He promised me 300 for my time & said I would be helping medical students train. He had me sign a release. He stated that my face would not be visible in the video which would be focused on my genital area only. I showed up at 8 at night as planned, after the clinic was closed. We waited for the female tech for over 1/2 hour, but she didn't show. He told me he would just get started until she arrived. He turned on the camera & special lights for filming. He explained aloud for the camera what he was doing and had me remove my boxers. He applied a cool gel to my testicles & rubbed the probe around for what seemed like a long time. Maybe 20 mins. I felt uncomfortable but tried to imagine myself somewhere else. I was completely soft the whole time which he said was not normal. He turned off the camera and asked me to take two blue pills to make my circulation improve for the exam. He left me alone in the room with some magazines to look at until the pills took effect. When he returned he asked how I felt. My face felt hot & I was a little dizzy. He asked me to pull down my boxers again. He said they needed to make a separate video of a penis sonogram, but the model didn't show up. He said it was really hard for them to get a subject who would go through with the exam on camera. He offered to double the price. He said he would fail his mid-term without the video completed. He gave me a drink to relax me. He turned the camera on & had me lie down on the exam table. I started to feel really weird & sleepy. He said to relax. He told me to be completely still & he rubbed the liquid over my penis with his hands (he had gloves on). He moved the probe up & down my shaft. Then he said he had check my urethra. He rubbed the probe around the head of my penis. At this point, I did start to get a little erect. He asked me how large I am when erect. I felt really weird. Like I couldnt speak or move. He move the probe from my testicle to my head over & over. I became super hard. He measured me. He asked if i was close to ejaculation. I was too embarrassed to admit it, but I was. At that moment I started to get real angry & told him to stop examining me, but he continued. I started to get up, but I couldn't move. I felt paralyzed. He said he was going to collect a sperm sample. I told him I felt sick. He gave me another blue pill to help with the nausea & came back later. I was still very erect when he returned. He said I needed a prostate exam. He pushed me on my siide, adjusted the camera & put his finger inside my
butt, twisted it around a few times . Then out of no where this super intense feeling went up & down my spine. He commented on how much I ejaculated. He gave me several cups of coffee & drove me home, because he said I was sedated. I made $600, but I would not recommend doing this. It was really uncomfortable & embarrassing. The female tech texted him to say she was stuck in traffic. My wife asked me how many drinks I had when I got home. I didn't tell her that I got hard or came. Does this sound normal for a medical exam video? He said he could pay me more next time, if I did it again. I need the money bad, cause I lost my job, but I don't want to do it again. Does this sound legit? I don't know what to think. Sometimes I have nightmares about not being able to move.
