torsion

My left testicle was removed due to torsion and right is safe also doctor fixed the right testicle to avoid torsion.
This was happened 15 days back. Now there is no erection in the morning for the past five days. Let me know the reasons for no erection.

Also with one testicle is it possible to become father.

I'm not a doctor so you should follow up with him/her.   My understanding is that the remaining teste will increase in size and production of hormones.  this will take time.

Did you opt for a prosthetic to replace the one that was removed?   If not please check out http://aartinc.net/silicone-carving-implants/
They come in normal adult sizes and are solid silicone.  Thus there is nothing to break or leak.   They have the right "Feel" so if you are in a relationship it doesn't have to be an embarrassment factor.

I think there are vocal people pro and con on this topic.  Decide for yourself (I think)

No. whether it is required to do the analysis.

Whether my surgery / one testicle will have impact on the semen analysis.

Did your doctor suggest semen analysis before and after the surgery? If yes, is there any decrease in the sperm count?

Surgery to be done within 6 hours to save the testicle , otherwise it will leads to dead testicle.

Ultrasound says no vascularity, since there is no blood flow to the testies.

And it is your testicle which is fixed to your scrotum, to avoid future torsion.

Ive had a torsion but it happened a month back, I have yet to go through the surgery. but could you please tell me after how many hours from the torsion did you get your surgery? and did you have any ultrasound of your testis? did it say "no vascularity" or "minimal vascularity"? and "some infarcted regions" or "totally infarcted"

If the testicle is fixed to avoid future torsion, whether the testicle will have movements in the scrotum or it is fixed. Please clarify. Fixation of the testicle means whether testicle is fixed to the scrotum or spermatic cord is fixed to the scrotum. Also how many number os stitches is required.

As long as your remaining testicle is functional there should be no problem becoming a father. After you've had sufficient recovery time from the surgery have a sperm count done. It'll take about six weeks to heal from the surgery. Th e likely reason you're not having erections is that your body is still recovering from the surgery. If you are lacking sex drive it may be a good idea to have your testosterone level checked.
