MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Blood in urine means hematuria. Most often it is related to urinary tract problems like kidney stones, inflammation of urinary tract, prostate enlargement, renal vein thrombosis, certain kidney tumors and polycystic kidney disease, blood coagulation disorders and anticoagulants. With cystoscopy your urologist will rule out any growth or obstruction in urinary tract which can be due to benign growth, prostate enlargement and any malignancy as well.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
