Hi,

It is quite possible that the enlarged prostate or inflammation of the prostate is mediating the  altered senstaions in the penis.

Burning or sharp rectal pain could be due to the hemorrhoids, which could be the mass projecting out during or after BM. This is called external hemorrhoids.

The fissure in ano could have been a consequence of the hemorrhoids.

You can try applying local pain-relieving ointments, such as proctoderm, for pain reflief after bowel movement.

Restoring your hemoglobin levels will have a significant effect on healing so focus on that while eating healthy.

Avoid sitting for prolonged durations and develop an exercise routine as these will take care of the hemorrhoids and the prostate problems.

Most of your problems seem to be in the pelvic region, so strengthening your pelvic region through exercises such as brisk walking and kegel's exercises would help.

Hi,

The symptoms of increased heartrate, dizziness and palpitations could be indicative of anemia. Anemia can also cause shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness, depression, etc.
If you feel that drawing blood for a test is difficult, it could be indicative of coagulative or connective tissue disorders.

It is encouraging to know that you have stopped passing blood in urine and are on the way to recovery. If the infection in your bladder was present over a long time, it will take some time for normal sensation to return. Meanwhile, do not wait for the urge to pass urine but void by the clock - every 3-4 hours.

Blood at the end of defecation is indicative of hemorrhoids.
It could also explain the crampy abdominal pain you have. A long course of antibiotics can disrupt normal gastrointestinal function and destroy friendly bacteria present in the tract. You will need to take yoghurt twice or thrice daily for a week to restore normal intestinal flora.

Flomax will help now that the infection is settling down.

If sticky and hard to digest foods are associated with some of your symptoms, avoid them.

Instead of white bread switch to wholegrain bread or rice and potatoes.

Substitute meat with fish or other seafood. Liver is a rich source of iron and does not usually aggravate hemorrhoids.

Fiber is very essential to normal bowel movement so increase intake of raw vegetables and fruits.

Milk may cause some flatulence and bloating, so avoid it for the time being and take yoghurt.
Increase intake of citrus juices and fruits high in Vitamin C.
Completely avoid caffeine and alcohol.
Always keep hydrating yourself.

Do keep us posted on your progress.

thank you so much,i do get dehydrated very easy, and enlarged prostate.taking flomax but doesn't help.did have urine test today and for first time in over 2 months i didn't have blood protein or infection.burning pain is gone but i can't feel when i have to urinate.

stool usually has dark red sometimes bright red ant the end of movement but has got smaller from quarter to dime size or smaller and only once or twice a week.

i have alwful stomach pain (rolling/pressure) and burning and is worse after eating anything not soft such as meat or bread and a hard time have bm which is painful in stomach lower back and rectum.

i was thinking about immune problems and did have lupus test which was negative, but i have every symptom of cfids.

what do you do or test for infection in blood and what would it be called.i do have problems with not bleeding such as getting blood drawn or a cut maybe circulation problems.and my heart beats fast hard and double beats which brings out alot of other symptoms with it(dizzy vison problem exc.)

thank you for your help.

Hi,

The weak and frequent urination associated with pain could be due to an infection of the prostate or as well as the epidydimis.

If you have been diagnosed with prostatitis and have an enlarged prostate, it would be best to have your doctor prescribe  prostate-specific drugs.

How long have you had blood in stool?
Is bowel movement accompanied by pain? At what stage does the blood appear - at the beginning or at the end or throughout?

Given the other systems involved and the arthritis it would be best to have any autoimmune disorder ruled out.

You need immediate medical attention as the increased heartrate or palpitations can be a sign of an infection in your blood.

Keep yourself well-hydrated at all times, but seek medical attention immediately.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
