difficult with bowel movements

Hi there, I have a difficult time mostly of the time, I use fibre and drink Prune Necture etc too help.  My bowel movements are not "hard", they are long and slim like a small finger... or sometimes pellets.  Difficult to talk about but I guess no one can see me.. hehehe

I find I have to hold my Vagina area in as there is a bulge there and it helps when I push the bulge in.  Is this a difficult thing to fix?  I've been doing this for over a year and just wonder is it possible to fix?

I had a hystorectomy years ago.  and 3 children.  I'm in my 50s.  any answers would be helpful..thanks

You are not alone. Many women have symptoms like yours. Many of them can find relief from repairing the bulge, But you need to be evaluated by a qualified physician/surgeon, who can diagnose what is wrong, and discuss the range of options available for correcting your situation. That is not always surgery, but if surgery is needed, then a qualified surgeon can do it successfully, I encourage you to get seen for it.

Sounds like you may have a rectocele which is a weakening in the posterior vaginal wall (often from childbirth) resulting in a portion of the anterior rectum to bulge through the weakened vaginal wall.

Would suggest a consult with a qualified urogynecologist.

Hope that helps.
