Deficiency and sinus problems?

Has anyone had any problems with their sinuses during their deficiency? I am noticing a new symptom. I'm 4 months into "recovery" it's been slow and seems like I still have many more bad days than good. Now I also have sinus problems. Headaches never really bothered me before and now I feel like I'm congested constantly and am having pains under my cheeks and through my jaw and it radiated into my head. I still get brain fog, as I have been and my anxiety is up and down. I'm still exhausted and dizzy and achy.

Symptoms haven't changed except for my sinus pains. It doesn't feel like a regular sinus infection though. My nose isn't runny... it's dried up, and I feel like I can't get anything out when I try to blow my nose.

I am worried my levels aren't going up, and right now I'm taking about 6000iu of d3 each day, along with B12 and magnesium and calcium (and about 5 other vitamins)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have had a lot of sinus infections 2 years before getting diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency. After starting taking vitamin D, only once ( in 8 months) I have had sinusitis, now I only get a little pressure and I can feel something is draining from my sinuses. I sometimes use steroid spray when I feel like there might be something starting again and I get some relief from that.

The symptoms you describe are typical of a sinus infection.

Your doctor can prescribe an antibiotic for you.

To help to clear the sinus congestion you can do steam inhalations.

To do a steam inhalation, boil up a kettleful of water and pour this into a bowl, taking care not to get scalded.  Put in some Vick or olbas oil or a few drops of any menthol oil.  Bend your head over the bowl and cover your head and bowl with a towel.  Breathe the steam through your nose and out through your mouth.  Do this for a duration of around 10 minutes, 4 times a day if you can.  This will help to get rid of any mucus irritation and congestion.  You can do this for as long as is needed.

Drink plenty of fluids, honey and lemon, chicken soup.
