Magnesium

I know it is highly recommended to take magnesium to help with your vitamin D absorption if you supplement, but does anyone know what KIND of magnesium? Also how much & how often? Can it increase your calcium?

Yes, you need magnesium to activate vitamin D. Vitamin D is generally used to regulate the balance of phosphate and calcium in order to maintain healthy bones.

Unfortunately I have seizures and migraines so I can't take magnesium I have a can under my knack hurts that bad!

But what about what KIND of Magnesium? There is chloride, sulfate, citrate, oxide and others.
Also, should calcium be taken at the same time?
