My son is a serious and drug-free weight lifter. He researches nutrition and eats according a very structured plan. He makes changes depending on his goals....bulk, putting on muscle, muscle definition, etc.
He also cross trains and works different muscle groups on a rotating basis.
Small comfort but...he says swimming is the most demanding sport in his routine.
