Generally, you can try limiting your calorie intake to 1500. (This actually depends on a few factors so that is a general suggestion) Choose healthy foods as suggested by tialee. Compliment with exercise. At least 3 times a week, 30 or more minutes of endurance training (running, jogging, biking) and some resistance training. Keep your water levels high (8 glasses). If you do this religiously you should be able to lose around 2lbs - 5lbs a week.
There is no shortcut to loose weight .......and that too 10kg per month ..not possible until you got to starvation :) :) :)
you can go for a target to loose as 2 kg's a month ......!!
I disagree Barb135.. if you eat healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, meat/protein/fish, eggs, healthy fats such as olive oil, coconut oil nuts and seeds, avocado, butter, cream.. drink water and cut out the foods such as grains, legumes.. exercise regularly a couple times a week but not excessively don't spend every day working out and you'll see the weight drop. No counting, you won't be hungry, you will have energy and you will lose weight.. my dad lost 20 lbs in the first 1.5 months, all he did was walk for exercise. I lost 20 lbs the first month and am now down 60 lbs and I did it by eating this way.. you need to stay away from processed foods, grains, sugars.. check out the paleo diet or marksdailyapple.com, even the dietdoctor.com.. for great recipes you can try desertstalker.com or chowstalker.com
10 kg is over 20 lbs, which is too much to lose in one month. Safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs/week. No diet, short of starvation will allow you to lose that much.
Better to take longer to lose the weight and do it by making healthy lifestyle changes that you can stick with.
