I agree that you should eat as few processed foods as possible. I don't agree that you need to invest in a guided fitness plan. Look up some yoga videos or pilates, etc... even "walk" videos, where you walk to a DVD... love doing those, when I can't get outside.
I walk a lot! 20 miles a week most weeks. I wear a water weight loss belt that makes my stomach sweat profusely. It gives me instant gratification. But for the more long term results, I stay away from unnecessary salt and processed carbs. I also don't eat good carbs(brown rice, whole wheat pasta, Sweet potatoes) after lunch. Soups and salads are a girls best friend!
Stop eating any processed foods in packets for main meals (like instant noodles or packaged meals), try to avoid them as snacks as much as possible (no chrisps!), and try to avoid artificial sugar completely.

Do not drink soda pop, eliminate all unnatural sugar, do not eat anything white (rice bread pasta) white=sugar sugar=fat. Do a lot of core excercises. It is worth it to invest in a guided fitness program.
