Hey JessieKaee, I totally agree with Eve about talking to your doctor. I used to take the depo shot. I gained 80lbs in two months and it took over a year for that stuff to leave my system. I have always had issues with birth control and have had to find alternative ways to maintain my safety in that area. Also when it comes to abs... no matter how many crunches you do, you will have trouble seeing all your efforts if you don't change around your diet. There's a saying in the fitness world that "abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym." I have found that just changing up my diet every couple weeks has helped my body not get comfortable in just one process. I also am not a big fan of veggies. I started slowly and found one fruit and veggie I liked and have worked my way up. Another idea you could try is making smoothies. It might sound weird but add spinach or a veggie your not allergic to into your shake. I have found its an easy way to cover the "veggie" taste and it feels like I'm cheating, but I'm not. I hope this helps and I wish you well! Good luck.
Hi JessieKaee,
I just finished reading your comments. You said you were thin all your life
prior to getting the depo birth control shot. My suggestion is to make an
appointment with your family doctor and discuss other methods of birth
control besides the depo birth control shot. As an aside, weight loss pills
are not healthy. I would visit your family doctor, change your birth
control method and let the doctor suggest to you a diet plan. Due to the
fact that you are so young and you are the weight you are, I'm not criticizing just stating a fact, you will need help losing this weight. Good luck, Eve
