Today me too got in on the treadmill and the cruches...So proud of you guys!
There's a line from Freaky Friday that I like: "This morning was good....and then I got up." At first, that's how I thought today was going to go. Then, I sucked it up and made myself lift some weights (and yes, Skailark, I also did abs!!!), and I took a 2-mile walk.
I feel like I dodged a bullet, because of how the morning started. We're on our 4,000,000th day in a row of clouds and/or drizzle. I'm sure that's not helping. Coming here to meet you guys sure helps!
Wow - wish I'd been able to read that first thing this morning - I needed that motivation!! Anyway, I'm here too.
This week's been a bit off??!! 3 late days in a row - dr appts, etc so have been way off on the work outs! In all honesty - basically none except what I've been able to get at work. Thyroid is acting up again and blood sugars zooming up and down, so just not a lot of energy. Dr appt next Wed during which I hope to get meds readjusted, etc so should have more energy, but the weekend will also help since I won't have to get up at 3:30 am.
I've been very careful about what I've eaten, so at least I haven't gained anything and am very thankful for that - so I guess, there's my motivation. I'll get back on track again soon. Thanks all.

Yes, time to stop listening to the part of me that wants to set up long-term residency on the couch and time to start listening to what makes sense--to keep moving and working to reach better health.
I'll be out of town next week for work, but I'll still be on MedHelp and will work to eat and move well, even away from home.
I'm reluctantly showing my ticker, trying to keep in mind that while my recent efforts aren't showing up, I've been doin' ok overall over time. Did anyone else check out Ranae's great journal post about plateaus?

I'm here and raring to go. Am doing much better on the exercise front this week but still a way to go to get where I want to be. Very sore muscles so trying to work different ones each day until my body gets used to this.
