Sunday Weigh In - June 5, 2011

Good morning, everyone; hope all is well in your world today.  As I stated last week, there was a death in my family and I had to be away for the funeral last week; now I'm back from my travels and getting back to "normal" (whatever THAT is).

Even though it was a sad occasion, I did enjoy seeing all my siblings again, as well as other family members, some of whom I had not seen in 20-30 yrs.  We spent a lot of time catching up, and even managed to have some fun.  

Of course, there was WAY too much of the wrong types of food and I ate more than I should have; however, when it's all said and done, I'm only up by a pound (from 145.8 to 146.8).  In addition, my fingers and feet are swollen and stiff this morning (too much sitting around for the week), which tells me I'm retaining fluid, so I'm not going to worry about that pound; chances are, it will be gone by the end of the day anyway.  

Okay, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it........ how about everyone else?  If you've met your goal, we surely want to hear about it, as well as what you did to achieve it.  If didn't meet your goal, maybe we can help figure out what might get you back on track again.  

I know I'm going to have to really get busy, as the official beginning of summer is only 16 days away!!  Wow, that's not much time left!!  

I restocked my fridge with salad fixin's, so will make several salads to have on hand, for either lunch or dinner.  I tend to eat my largest meal of the day at lunch, but if I have the salads made, they will be easy to grab for dinner.

Okay -- now it's your turn............

I am down a few more pounds and have 9 more to go to reach my goal. I started back in April.  I need to increase exercise as the last few pounds will be the hardest.

I didn't weigh on Sunday. I meant to, but with all the family in town it just slipped my mind. I had a major slip up recently, so I'm still trying to get back down from that. I don't think I'm going to reach my goal, but there's still time I suppose!

I think I'm 1 lb down, but who knows -- that can be one less glass of water LOL!

Ok, so I'm part of this group.....BUT because I had such a relasped I am not posting my weight. I was weighed at the dr's office yesterday and was really upset with it.

BUT I have about 31lbs to lose by 9/5...so wish me luck!!!!

losed 2.5lbs this week :) finally seeing some results! probably cus ive buckled down alot more this week. gonna keep it up!! Hope everyone else is doing well! looks like we are losing some posters lol

Well, I have been gone for the past two weekends and have NOT weighed on Sunday mornings. I flew into Milwaukee at 2 this afternoon and then ate out with the family (my son and his fiance were here FROM Milwaukee).

Since I have missed TWO weigh-ins, I will post what I weighed a couple of days ago. I am down 5 lbs from where I was the last time I weighed in.  I am desperately trying to lose weight now that it looks like I will be [hopefully] having my knee replaced before the summer is over (while I am off work, in other wods).
