hi,
if your are serious about gaining your weight please contact me @ raju_naayak***@****
I am 20 and m weight is about 111 lbs, can u advise me with something. I have not gained weight for the past 5-6 years and i'm getting depressed over the issue.
Hey.
I've been trying to gain weight as well. I'm 16 and I'm 135 pounds. I was 130 last month. Here's what I can say- make sure you don't work out too much. It sounds dumb, but if you work out too hard, you'll use all the carbs in your system and you'll start breaking down protein for energy. You need the protein for muscles, of course, so this is bad. I'll be going out to buy some Whey Protein tomorrow, which is supposed to be good. We'll see.
Don't eat too much sodium- it'll make your stomach unpleasantly big (not muscular, just a lot of water weight)
Eat your weight in protein! (if you weigh 100 pounds, eat 100 grams of protein every day)
Count calories. (If 2000 calories aren't enough, which they probably aren't, try 2,400 or 2,800.)
Avoid trans fat (You'll gain weight, but it'll be fat, and you probably want muscle.)
Drink a lot of water (It not only helps you digest protein and keeps your kidneys safe, but it'll make your muscles look bigger and the veins will be more visible) (Drink about 8 glasses a day, though I drink about 16)
o know what u are talking about i had the same problem and i well still do in a way its hard to gain, i am now about 175 or so but was much less before i am also 6 foot 2, what u need is protein shakes and food potatoes, pasta, and then u need to work out, lift heavy the heavies u can, that is only i u have had a groth spert, i had mine late so i started working out late, but 17 is ok, make sure u eat brekfast always, dont miss it ever, the most important meal, eat something every 3 to 4 hours, dont expect to gain the first moth, results will show and when they do u will be very happy, u can do it just dont be lazy.
Hey Iggie,
Unlike most people think, weight gaining is hard. Alot of people will tell you that you have it easy and to be happy, but don't listen. I am trying to gain weight too, and so far the best results come from working out. In the past year I have gained twenty pounds. I now weigh a BIG 127, lol. When you first start working out don't expect gains right away, every month weigh yourself, you should see a little gain, and you will see some change in your muscle structure which is always good. After your body goes through the first dramatic changes your results will lessen. I am at the point where the results are hard gained. But until you get to that point enjoy! I hope I have helped you in any way, and if you get some good results, let me know!

Iggy,
Didn't realize you were male. My friends husband is very tall and thin. He is in his 30's. He started lifting weights. He used to look like someone who was being starved. Now he looks great. Start lifting weights and make sure that you eat plenty of carbs and proteins.
Hey
thank you, you make more sense than many others
I wanted to gain weight at your age as well. I was around 94-97 pounds. Don't worry about it. Seize the moment. It will come and when you gain it you won't want it. I gained up to 108 at 23. After I married I gained nearly 20 lbs. Now I don't want it. Your metabolism will start slowing in your late 20's.
Hey
assuming there's no medical reason why you aren't gaining weight-i would say add starchy foods (bread, pasta, potatoes etc) and protein. a doctor back in day told my mom when she was younger and very thin a milkshake a day would help her put on weight-also you might try eating smaller meals but more of them-good luck
