Cellulite Appearance

Hi,
I was curious if anyone had any potential suggestions. I am a 22 year active female with significant amount of muscle and am in the healthy weight range for my height. I exercise 2 hours everyday, watch my caloric intake, and drink so much water that friends joke i would evaporate if placed over fire!

I have always had some cellulite, as does everyone, and i know a large majority of its existence and appearance are genetic, but I feel as if recently i have developed MORE. or at least, it seems to be much, much more apparent than before. I am trying to lose about 5 pounds or so, so I am even counting my calories and measuring food to ensure I am not overeating/underestimating.

I have become very self-conscious about my cellulite, (it is on my thighs, the back of my thighs, and even into my calves!), and want to do whatever possible to minimize its appearance. I don't believe those creams and such work, and I am not about to go have surgery to get rid of it, but is there anything I can do to reduce its appearance? I keep my legs moisturized, which sometimes helps but not always.

i dont know what to do! it was literally like I woke up one morning and it was there! Help!

i do cardio for about 80 minutes then do arm weights (rotating off with different muscle groups) and leg weights/lunges and then abs.

i am honestly open for anything. i have a gym in my complex so i don't have access to those kinds of classes, though. and i lift weights already! this is just frustrating simply because i didn't have this much before and now i do - and i have no idea how it got there!

Heya,

You sound like you exercise a LOT... 2hrs every day is quite full on... but what exercise are you doing? I had a little bit of cellulite when I put on some weight, then I went running and did a class at the gym called "body pump" - which is squats and lunges with weights. This helped so much I have no cellulite now.

Not saying that is will work - because you are probably right with the genetics thing. Otherwise I am not sure.
